My son attended American Heritage for high school. The academic rigor is real; it’s not for every student, but those seeking challenges will thrive. Most teachers are highly responsible and supportive. The school offers excellent resources, especially in engineering, business, and pre-med tracks. The specialized programs, facilities, course options and intern opportunities offered go far beyond what a typical high school provides.

What also stood out was the senior year college counseling. The counselors were amazing; we never needed outside help.

Yes, the workload is demanding, but students also receive strong support. If your child is academically driven and wants great college guidance, American Heritage is an outstanding choice.

American Heritage School really stands out for how much it offers beyond just strong academics. The STEM side is especially impressive, with hands-on engineering opportunities and a math team that’s genuinely outstanding and competitive. At the same time, it’s not just for “STEM kids”—there’s a lot to get involved in, from speech and debate to theatre and many other clubs and activities, so students can explore different interests while still being challenged. College placement is a big strength, with many students going on to Ivies and other top universities. Over time, you can really see that graduates tend to become accomplished and well-prepared in whatever paths they choose. It can be a busy environment, but that’s part of what makes it exciting, and most students find it both supportive and motivating.
