Expansion at St. Thomas More will encompass a permanent facility for our kindergarten, replacing the portable classrooms now housing that grade, the addition of a pre-school, a library/media centre, a science/art instruction area, a fully fitted kitchen and a large multi-purpose meeting area for use by the school, the Archdiocese, and the wider community. Kindergarten program at St. Thomas More School has a decidedly academic approach.

Founded in 1966 by Mathilde and Jean Wegmüller, Chantemerle is a private, international boarding school located in the French part of Switzerland. Our school welcomes Swiss and international students ages 6 to 18 for the school year as well as for summer and winter camps. From primary school to high school, our Swiss pathway prepares for the Swiss Federal Matura diploma. The Matura gives automatic entry into highly reputable Swiss universities and engineering schools (EPFL/ETH), that are also known for their affordability. The Matura is also highly regarded in the USA and internationally. Foreign students who are beginners in French can easily join the Swiss pathway after having completed our intensive one-year French language immersion. Interestingly, Chantemerle also offers a bilingual option to candidates with a B2 level in English. The bilingual matura is likely to be recognized internationally, offering students a qualification that holds value beyond the borders of Switzerland.
