Newbury Academy is an alternative high school for every kind of student. As of September 2008, Newbury Academy is now a real time virtual school, with all classes conducted online. It still serves the Dumont, NJ area, but is now also available for the Brick, NJ area, as there are teachers in both areas available for the weekly home visits. At The Yeshiva University High Schools, we are dedicated to preparing our students for adulthood both as knowledgeable and committed Jews and as broadly educated, intellectually curious, and caring the welfare of others, members of the general society. The High Schools provide a challenging academic program in an atmosphere that encourages adherence to the traditional ideals and practices of Orthodox Judaism. Josephinum Academy is a Catholic college preparatory high school that empowers young women of Chicago to become confident, faith-filled leaders. In small ways every day, in history class and on the softball field, students progressively learn that they have the power to effect change in their lives.

NewHope Academy is a privately owned facility designed to provide special education services in a therapeutic day school environment to students with average to above average intelligence. NewHope works with students that have an Individual Educational Plan (IEP), generated by their home school district, stating that a therapeutic day school is necessary to meet the student's educational needs.

St. Hyacinth School is in existence 107 years. The Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth were invited to direct the school from its beginning and continue to do so to this day. The school has 15 Lay Teachers, 2 Religious Sisters and 3 Staff Members. The present school population is 248 students in Grades PK - 8th grade. The composition of these students: 60% Hispanic, 25% White Non-Hispanic, 10% Asian, 4% Bi-racial and 1% Black. The Archdiocesan Food Service Professionals provide food service for breakfast and lunch. 35% or 84 students receive free lunches and 22% or 52 students receive reduced lunches.

Newgrange is a nonprofit organization celebrating over 30 years of success in educating people with learning disabilities. The School is located in Hamilton, New Jersey and serves students with language based learning disabilities who are between the ages of 7 and 18. Students at the Newgrange School receive an individualized educational program and are given the tools they need to be academically successful.

Our children learn differently because of disorders in thinking, listening, speaking, reading, spelling, touch, or perception, etc. The School fulfills a vital function in the New York City Public School System, serving the needs of children with learning, social/emotional and developmental disabilities throughout the five boroughs. It is chartered by the Board of Regents of the State of New York to accept youngsters whose needs cannot be satisfied within the public education system. Under this authorization, The Child School is classified as an approved non-public day school, whose students may qualify for 100 percent tuition payment by New York State.
