This is an excellent school, and its ranking fails to reflect its true excellence. The campus environment is safe, guided by Catholic tradition, and there's even a carillon to learn! The children receive excellent management and education, and the university entrance results are also very good.

As a parent, I feel very assured entrusting my child to Canterbury. The school provides single-room accommodation. As a typical New England boarding high school, it possesses a rich humanistic spirit. The school facilities are excellent, academic requirements are rigorous, and there are abundant activities. Crucially, the school teachers are very kind to the children, and the students are very friendly with each other. My child has adapted very well to the school, and the college placement for Chinese students in recent years has also been excellent.

The school management is very good, and the children's schedules are also very tight. Boarding accounts for about 80%. During the day, there are academic classes, and after 3 PM, all students are required to participate in a sports activity. Most boarding students have single rooms. In the evening, there's self-study in the dorms, with requirements to keep dorm doors open and phones placed outside the dorm door, and teachers supervise in the hallways. On Saturdays, there's a half-day of classes. On Sunday mornings, there's mass, and in the afternoon, the school provides a shuttle bus for students who need to go to Walmart in town to buy necessities. The food is acceptable, though students with a particular 'Chinese palate' might need some time to adapt. The school is also very humane; students or parents can communicate with teachers whenever they have difficulties, and teachers try their best to help resolve them. My son and I both really like this school.
