Steve Downes先生自1985年起任职Tabor Academy。他是学校的国际学生中心主任，教授中文和世界现代史课程，并担任壁球教练。Steve还负责学校在东南亚的项目以及夏季和冬季的学生交换项目，国际学生招生工作等。

Steve Downes joined the Tabor faculty in 1985, he studied history as an undergraduate at Harvard and international Studies as a graduate student at Johns Hopkins. He teaches Chinese language and has taught modern world history. In addition to teaching, he works with Tabor’s International Students, and coaches boys squash in the winter. Steve accompanies Tabor service programs in Southeast Asia in the summer, and helps with summer and winter school exchange programs and international admissions work.
