3位获得 Offers 的同学均来自国际学校，大家一定也很希望更多了解他们，从而探究为什么他们能够在竞争如此激烈的形势下获得学校的青睐。

我们将来自融尚南希伙伴顾问老师对三位同学的评价分享给大家，希望用这样的方式让大家认识鲜活生动、有趣有料的他们。

J同学

Boundless potential and energy; team-oriented engineer – If there is someone who is determined to make big things happen, it’s J. His mind works non-stop, and “downtime” doesn’t seem to exist for him, except to sleep. Hoping to become a rocket engineer in the future, he pours over science and physics books, and his stacks of notebooks keep record of his design ideas. He would wake up as early as 5:00 a.m. to work on his models and stay up late to watch rocket launches. He works together with his friends on personal projects such as building Lego robotics and setting up public Minecraft servers. 

An engaging public speaker, he spoke about his personal experience with online scamming and educated the audience on how to take Internet safety precautions during a recent speech competition. Nevertheless, J’s talents and interests are not limited only to his passion in STEM. He trains intensively in baseball and snowboarding, plays the saxophone in the school jazz band, and rocks out on the guitar with his own band. 

Always looking for a problem to solve, he enjoys playing escape rooms with his friends and practicing Rubik’s Cube algorithms any chance he gets. (And ask him for his killer impression of Donald Trump!) Tech savvy, immeasurably curious, constantly up-to-date, and socially connected—J represents all that is positive and exciting about his up-and-coming generation.

A同学

Deeply compassionate and authentic; an imaginative artist and animal welfare activist – With A， there is no mask and no make-up. A is a free, giving spirit who is truly confident and comfortable with who she is. She has a rich inner world, which she openly shares with others through her creative and original artwork.

A is generous with her kindness, and she doesn’t shy away from being vulnerable—speaking graciously about her family，making friends with new students because of her previous experiences with shyness, and taking the time to memorialize a dog from the shelter after receiving news of their passing. An animal lover, her social media posts are filled with pictures and updates of her many pets and of her volunteer work with animals. 

A is one of the very few students we have worked with who has zero sense of entitlement, clearly understanding that anything worth having comes with responsibilities and challenges. She knows that she may not always perform the best, but her ability to look at herself and her experiences with a combination of courage and composure, as well as a touch of light humor, shows her profound emotional maturity. 

D同学

Ice Hockey Player; Determined, Goal-Oriented 

Even at such a young age, D is a sincere and determined individual, who, once he has set his eyes on a goal, never gives up until he has succeeded or surpassed the high expectations he sets for himself. Whether it be winning player awards in ice hockey (which he has been practicing for over eight years already) or competing in the AMC 8 and USAP competitions, D stays laser-focused on his target and works diligently to strengthen his skills and improve his weaknesses. 

In and out of the ice hockey rink, D also leads by example. His gregarious nature ensures that everyone he meets becomes a friend while D’s patient attitude means that he is not only willing to but also excels at guiding others step-by-step to master knowledge and skills he has learned himself.
