As far as I feel FSHA is a very supportive place with strong team spirit. Students here have the freedom to develop all their skills and interests through all kinds of courses, extracurriculars, and clubs offered. Personally thinking, the international program makes FSHA a second home for our students study abroad. Residential life parents and council members do make me feel safe, inclusive, and supportive in my first year here.

FSHA is a great place to grow both academically and personally. It’s a wonderful community where students feel supported, challenged, and encouraged. The teachers truly care and classmates are welcoming, which makes it easy to feel at home. The boarding program also offers a safe, inclusive environment. Living on campus is amazing not only because you can meet new friends from around the world, but also creates great opportunities to build lasting friendships and become more independent.

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy is a wonderful all-girls Dominican Catholic school. Students welcome you warmly, often greeting you with smiles across the hallways. The teachers are remarkably helpful and supportive, always willing to assist when you reach out. Although lunch lines can be long and sometimes chaotic, the food is usually good. Snacks are on the pricier side, but overall, the school’s atmosphere and system are highly respected. A wide variety of sports are offered, though they tend to be competitive, with strict tryouts for joining the teams. The residential aspect of Flintridge Sacred Heart is a respectable second home. The dorms are comfortable, and the program provides many opportunities to build lasting friendships and bond with your roommate. On weekends, students can enjoy outings and activities organized by the school. While the program does fill your schedule with many mandatory events, it ultimately helps you learn independence and personal growth.

There's so many activities and clubs in school and also in our residential hall, and we always hang out to Disney land and universal studios and also other amusement parks. The teachers care a lot, and all the people here are kind and supportive. As an international student, and the one who leave my home country to study abroad, fsha is really a second home for me and taking care of me. I’ve grown so much and made some of the best friends in my life.

As an international student, living in res life, I've been getting support from teachers and councils. It is like a second home for me away from my real home. Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy is a lovely school. The school is surrounded with the natural world. Walking up to the school, you can see deer crossing the grass and crows flying at the top of the building. You can create unique memories with the sisters around there.

FSHA creates lots of sisterhood, bonding, and provides lots of leadership opportunities to the tologs that come here. In the residential life program, there are lots of programs and activities students can engage in.

The school is located on a mountain, with beautiful scenery and a fresh environment. If viewed purely as a day school, its various mechanisms are quite standard. This is a school where arts are particularly prominent; every semester, the school hosts concerts, dance performances, and musical theater shows, which are incredibly spectacular, making it hard to imagine that high school students could achieve such performance levels. Academic standards are average; the school does not offer a particularly rich selection of AP courses, and if you plan to register for AP tests (test-only) outside the school, they might not be very supportive. Most teachers' classes are relatively relaxed, primarily relying on students' self-discipline, though students can also proactively seek out teachers for questions. Of course, there are excellent teachers; the school's chemistry teacher and some English teachers are very responsible and have excellent teaching levels. Socially, local Americans are friendly and kind, very welcoming to Chinese students. The only thing to be cautious about when choosing this school is to carefully consider boarding at the school.

1. Founded in 1931, the school is a Catholic boarding school for girls, located in La Cañada Flintridge, Southern California, near Los Angeles. The campus covers 42 acres with a beautiful environment. On weekends, students can visit the beach, parks, museums, and more.
2. The school's surrounding university resources are very rich, being 15 minutes from Caltech, 25 minutes by car from USC, and 35 minutes by car from UCLA.

My name is Bích, and this year I'm in 11th grade at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy. This is my second year studying here. I find studying here very enjoyable, especially when staying in the dormitory because everyone is very friendly and amiable. In my opinion, the facilities here are very new and excellent. The school has many good and kind teachers; everyone is willing to answer our questions if we have any, and they are also there to support us when needed. Additionally, weekends are never boring because there are usually trips to Target, shopping malls, ice skating, go-karting, movies, etc., so we can go out and have fun. Because of this, I've made many memories with my friends and had a wonderful experience at this school.

My name is Nguyen Bao Quyen and I am from Vietnam. This year, I am in 10th grade at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy. This is also my first year here, but I have already made many memories with this school. Because I am a boarding student, every weekend the staff organizes exciting activities such as going to the supermarket, shopping at malls, and even volunteer trips. In my opinion, this is a wonderful girls' school. Here, the teachers are very enthusiastic and dedicated, always helping me whenever I fall behind in class. Although I am a new student, I have made many friends because everyone here is friendly and open-minded. Personally, I find this to be an excellent learning environment with very modern facilities, so new students will find it very easy to adjust to studying abroad in a foreign country like this.

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy is located in Southern California, near Los Angeles, about a 45-minute drive from Los Angeles International Airport, offering convenient transportation. The school was founded in 1931, with a mission to educate young women to live lives of faith, integrity, and truth.

School Features

1) The school has more than 20 athletic teams. The equestrian team participates in interscholastic equestrian leagues year-round. The teams have consistently advanced to league and state finals, winning multiple championships in recent years.

2) Research Program: Starting from 9th grade, students are required to write different types of papers. Through the research process, students learn how to correctly identify and use online information, and how to search, evaluate, and utilize information. In 12th grade, there is a capstone project that reflects all the skills they have learned throughout the process.

3) STEM Program: Guides students' curiosity and interpretation of complex information to develop problem-solving solutions. The school was named a 2020 Best STEM School by Newsweek. Students have received a total of $17,335 in science research grants. In the past two years, one student won first prize in the California International System Security Competition, received the AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award, and 16 students received the Aspirations in Computing Award.

4) Counseling and Psychological Services Program: The school's psychological counseling department hosts themed events every month.
