Hebron School is a picturesque school with a very large campus, offering stunning views of lakes and mountains. Students can enjoy hiking, boating, and cross-country running. The sports facilities are comprehensive and advanced, including football fields, tennis courts, and rugby fields. Children particularly enjoy basketball, cross-country running, and ice skating. Since enrolling last autumn, their physical fitness has improved. The school has strict student management, with evening study sessions every night, and electronic devices must be submitted before 10 PM, helping children develop good routines. The school offers a rich variety of extracurricular activities, frequently organizing festivals and concerts, and often takes students to visit museums and nearby cities. The teachers are very friendly and provide excellent care for students from lower grades to higher grades, fostering a sense of a large family. Even during the pandemic, teachers cared for every child, communicating with parents in real-time, maintaining close home-school connections to reassure parents.

Seaboard Academy is a private boarding school located in Southern Maine, near the capital city of Portland. The school has a history of over 200 years, a super-large campus of 1500 acres, with 90% of faculty and staff living on campus and 100% of students boarding. The proportion of Asian students is 15%, and the teacher-student relationship is very harmonious. I drove three hours from Boston in the light rain to reach the school.

2) High Attention to Students: Course advisors closely monitor students' academic progress and provide additional help if a student's grades are not satisfactory.
3) Participation in the Round Square Program: The school partners with over 200 schools worldwide in the Round Square program, allowing students to participate in cultural exchanges in different countries twice a year, each lasting one to two weeks.
4) Featured Programs: Ice hockey, skiing, tennis, squash, computer science, and visual arts.

All the teachers are very nice, and the campus environment is great. Although the location is a bit remote, the surrounding infrastructure is well-developed, and I really like this peaceful atmosphere. Both the course offerings and extracurricular activities are very rich.

My experience studying at Hebron Academy was a transformative one. When you gather all your memories, experiences, and adventures, you'll find that your time at Hebron was not only unforgettable, but it has also opened doors and prepared everything for what you want to do. For me, without the experience of studying at Hebron Academy, it would have been impossible for me to enroll at Harvard University this September.

My daughter attends Hebron School and has become confident and happy! This year, I specifically brought my whole family to visit the school in person. The school environment is beautiful, the local customs are simple and honest, and people are polite and yielding. The teachers are open-minded and loving, and the principal is super handsome and loves sports, which is why sports are exceptionally prominent at the school, getting the children active. This is also what attracted me the most. It's a fantastic school!

My friend's child graduated from Hebron Academy last year, having studied there for four years. Hebron is an excellent school with a beautiful environment, high teaching quality, and comprehensive sports programs. Skiing and ice hockey are particular strengths. Especially in the current pandemic situation, attending Hebron Academy in Maine is a relatively good choice.

This is my third year staying in Hebron, and suddenly I feel a great sense of reluctance to leave. When I first arrived, I was very shy and homesick, especially in such a quiet school surrounded by forests on all sides, which intensified my sadness. It was very different from what I imagined; I thought all of America was like bustling New York cities, and facing the suburban forests before me, I felt a bit lost.

However, I've found that as long as you bravely take a step out of your comfort zone, this place will leave you with the most special and unforgettable memories. Here, you'll find friends from cultures all over the world, and unique outdoor activities: skiing, camping, trail running. Things I never experienced or even imagined in the city are all here. At the same time, in Hebron, I also discovered artistic talents I had never explored before: painting, pottery, and even glasswork. With friends, you can party all night here, but when you want to quiet down, this place becomes like Walden Pond, allowing you to immerse yourself in the wisdom of nature. Even though it's relatively rural, the school has all the necessary facilities around it: hospitals, shopping malls, Walmart, cinemas, and some very charming old streets. The activities are also very rich and varied.

Unlike the Chinese education system, there is no absolute hierarchy here; teachers and students respect each other, even confiding in each other like family and friends. In advisory, teachers will take you to experience the most local American dining culture, and sometimes even invite you to make dinner together.

Hebron Academy provided me with the opportunity to discover my artistic talent. If it weren't for this school, I might not have discovered that I also possess such talent.

The quality of student recruitment has severely declined in recent years. Ever since the new principal took over, they've been aggressively expanding enrollment of Chinese students, almost accepting everyone who applies. They might be very short on money. However, the school's hardware is quite good, and the campus environment is indeed nice. It feels like the new principal isn't pursuing an academic path; they've even gone to China to open branch campuses. This intention to make money is far too obvious. What was originally a prestigious school has undergone a sudden shift in its approach/style.

Art Programs
The foundation of art education is: exploration, diligence, and practical focus. The Lepage Center provides students with one-on-one lesson opportunities, addressing their individualized needs. In addition, students have numerous performance opportunities.
Music Programs: Our music programs are very rich; we have orchestras, jazz bands, and choirs. Our students and faculty are very actively involved in music programs. Students have many opportunities to share their musical talents, such as performing music at the school assembly every Monday, and also performing at other important events. Students can participate in state-level competitions and music festivals. Many students initially don't play instruments when they arrive, but here they experience the joy of learning music.
Performing Arts: Drama performance is a key annual activity at our school. 75% of our students have participated in at least one theatrical production. Senior students can participate in playwriting, directing, and production.
Visual Arts: Our Lepage Center for the Arts provides students with spacious areas and indoor art studio facilities, making it convenient for students to study visual arts and multimedia arts. The art center is open 7 days a week, welcoming students at any time. All students can take art courses, starting from introductory levels all the way to advanced levels, including preparing portfolios for applying to art universities. The curriculum is very flexible, offering one-on-one personalized tutoring to help uniquely talented students delve deeper into their studies.

The school has a unique new student program. New students' courses are pre-assigned, and the school specifically arranges course advisors for new students to help them better adapt to the school and eventually grow into Hebron student leaders.

The first two weeks after students arrive at school are an experiential period. Students can apply to adjust their courses if they find them too easy or too difficult. Upon arrival, new students will be assigned roommates based on their personality traits, living habits, etc., and these roommates will be from other countries, with the hope of encouraging students to interact more with peers from different cultural backgrounds.

Course advisors will constantly monitor students' academic progress. If they find that a student's grades are not good, they will provide additional help to assist the student in improving their performance.

From 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM, there is a study hall (evening self-study) in the dormitory. New students will have designated study areas with academic tutors available to answer questions, while upperclassmen can study freely in their dorms.
