My husband and I both attended private schools in the area, and assumed our kids would attend one of those. Then, we visited The Pennington School, and our entire family felt so seen. Now, our two boys are there (a middle schooler and an upper schooler) and it is by far the best decision we've ever made. The boys are not only excited to be at school everyday, but they are passionate about what they're learning, the books they're reading, and the interactive ways the material is taught. The teachers, administrators, students, and parents, are just so unique, and there's something so incredibly magical about The Pennington School. It's such a gift to be a part of this community.

The Pennington School is filled in love, diversity, and respect. I am an international student who came from China, and I have participated in The Pennington Community two years. During these 2 years, I have learned a lot useful skills and abilities, and viewed various new things for me. I am a boarder in The Pennington School, teachers are literally my back up, they are the first one who support me, help me, when I face the problems. I believe this is why my parents were so willing to send me over from the other side of the earth to Pennington School without any hesitation. Since I came to The Pennington School, I can see a lot opportunities of trying new things and view various perspectives of studying, that literally built my critical thinkings and skills of put words into action. I show great fondness toward photography and teachers around the campus provide me with opportunities to take photos of our beautiful campus and the diversity in our community.

Pennington has been a spectacular experience for my two boys. They have had a great education, made wonderful friends from four continents, and connected with amazing mentors. The diversity of the international community has expanded their horizons and helped them build skills for working with peers from all backgrounds.

I genuinely cherished my time at Pennington from 2015 to 2020. The school truly feels like a family — the students are friendly, and the teachers are incredibly welcoming and supportive. We have professional swimming pools and tennis courts. The school's soccer is number one in the United States, and both boys and girls can participate. Our swimming program is very strong, with professional athletes specially trained for the Olympic Games. The school's football program has a history of 140 years, making it one of the oldest in the United States.

The school's art programs are also quite outstanding, whether it's fine arts, music, or drama. Our graduates have gone to the Juilliard School, and some have already performed in Broadway theater productions. Many students have also dedicated themselves to fine arts or design careers, becoming installation artists or designers.

We also have very prominent features in our STEM programs. This is absolutely an underrated gem of a school! You can deeply feel the love and thoughtfulness of the Pennington family just by visiting the campus. Not only are the students incredibly friendly, with absolutely no issues of exclusion or discrimination, but the teachers are also very attentive and caring towards international students. Besides thoughtful gestures like arranging transportation for students during holidays and taking them to hotpot restaurants or Asian supermarkets on weekends, academically, there's no need to worry about communication problems with teachers at all (as there are 'extra help' sessions every day after school for additional questions, and most teachers live on campus, so you don't have to worry about not finding time to communicate with them). Even during online classes amid the pandemic, there were weekly check-ins to ensure virtual international students were supported, with reasonable discussions and adjustments to suit their schedules. It truly feels like a small family in 'Pancun' where you can experience genuine familial love.

As an alumna and parent of Pennington, I would highly recommend the quality of education. My daughters and I were all boarding students and the friendships we made with the international community are very strong. Both of my daughters were able to travel to China with their friends to experience their culture. The teachers work with the students to help them thrive and be successful. They both were accepted to highly ranked Universities for computer science and business.
