My son went to Wasatch Academy for two years and graduated from high school there. He was recently accepted to UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) as an engineering student, and I'm very happy that he may go to his dream school and study what he really wants to. Wasatch Academy gave him great chances to grow as a person and as a student.

The school has great facilities, kind and helpful instructors and staff, and strong programs in athletics, music, art, technology, and engineering. The only bad thing is that the area is very quiet because it's in a tiny town, but I think this is wonderful for students who want to focus on their studies.

My son grew more confident, happier, and stronger during his two years at Wasatch. If you're thinking about sending your child to a boarding school, I would highly recommend Wasatch Academy.

The school is good, and the teachers are very responsible. The school facilities are complete and excellent. However, I must raise an issue: the school has serious problems with Tibetan independence, Hong Kong independence, and Taiwan independence. Anyone who has been at Vasatchi knows this.

As a graduate who just finished last year, Wasatch brought me not only academic benefits but also enriched my life. The school has many highly qualified teachers, some of whom graduated from other prestigious universities. Furthermore, with students from over 30 countries, Wasatch allows everyone to make friends from different nations after class, making for a very enriching and open-minded experience. All in all, choosing Wasatch is a decision you won't regret!

As an American high school student who graduated last year and attended Wasatch for 4 years, Wasatch has brought me improvements not only in academic abilities but also in social skills, life aspects, and more. The school provides Office Hours, a feature typically found only in universities, where students can go to teachers for questions or discuss their ideas. Secondly, since Wasatch students come from over 30 countries, this diverse environment allowed me to communicate with people from different nations, greatly enhancing my social skills. While focusing on teaching, the school also pays great attention to the student experience. If students have any problems, whether in life or academics, the school will help them solve them immediately! I hope more excellent junior students can come to Wasatch! I believe you will benefit greatly! Go Tigers!

As a parent, I am deeply grateful to Wasatch Academy for nurturing and helping my child. This is a very loving school. Before going abroad, my son had severe academic imbalances, and I was very worried that he would not be happy and would have no future within the domestic education system. In this situation, we found a study abroad agency, and through them, my son entered a private school in Pittsburgh. However, that school offered little help to international students and had no ESL program, resulting in my son failing four subjects in his first year. After studying there for two years, his GPA was only 2.82 out of 5. In desperation, a friend helped us contact Wasatch Academy. After a comprehensive evaluation of my son, especially a very detailed interview, the school's admissions officer exceptionally admitted him.

During his years at Wasatch Academy, my son transformed. He became much more outgoing and made many good friends. More importantly, through the school's very comprehensive ESL courses and other academic support, my son's English proficiency and grades improved rapidly. His GPA showed a steady upward trend, reaching 3.64 (out of 4) by the time he applied to universities. Ultimately, my son received admission offers from several American universities, including the University of California, Riverside, and the University of San Francisco.

Every teacher at Wasatch Academy genuinely loves each student and cares about their physical and mental health and growth. Because of this, my son calls residential advisors and some teachers "mom." Every Chinese New Year, the school sets off fireworks for Chinese international students, and the cafeteria prepares Chinese food.

Sending my child to Wasatch Academy, I feel very much relieved by two points. Firstly, the school upholds a student-centered educational philosophy, creating an excellent learning environment for students, showing humanistic care everywhere, which makes me, as a parent, very much at ease. Secondly, the school's curriculum is quite rich, truly embodying individualized instruction. Children can choose courses based on their academic ability and interests; almost all classes are small-sized, and the school offers many AP courses to meet students' academic expansion needs. At the same time, the school places special emphasis on the development of students' character. Each student is assigned a mentor, and the mentor conducts an in-depth communication with the student weekly. In addition, the school also offers many music, art, and STEM courses, and sports like basketball, swimming, tennis, and equestrianism are even more diverse and vibrant.

The school is good in terms of education, and I feel very reassured with my child studying at Wasatch. The downside is that it takes about three hours to get to the airport. It's indeed a very remote town, which is understandable, right?

Wasatch Academy is over an hour's drive from Salt Lake City. The school environment is beautiful, and the children's living conditions are excellent. In terms of educational resources, the school offers a variety of courses, allowing children to choose suitable ones based on their strengths and receive professional guidance from teachers. Regarding study planning, the school respects children's choices and provides appropriate guidance, effectively fostering children's self-learning and self-planning abilities. When applying to universities, subject teachers and counselors can provide advice and guidance based on each child's characteristics, helping them secure offers from their desired schools. The school's educational philosophy is respect, openness, mutual assistance, and equality, which allows children's teamwork skills and emotional management abilities to develop well, leading to step-by-step personal growth!
In summary, this school has strong overall capabilities, the teachers are very nice, and the support for parents is sufficient. It's highly recommended!

Before the school pandemic, a school bus used to take students to the supermarket for shopping every week. The safety measures during the pandemic have been good. I hope my son can get into his ideal American university next year.

The area where Wasatch Academy is located is very safe and beautiful. The school places great emphasis on humanitarian care for international students. From the principal down to every teacher, everyone deeply cares for the children. My child spent four very meaningful years of high school life at the school. Every weekend, the school arranges special transportation to take children to supermarkets and shopping malls for purchases, and also arranges for students to go to movies, watch plays, and participate in other entertainment activities. Every year, the school holds an International Day, where children from nearly thirty countries and regions around the world wear their respective national costumes, walk the stage, and introduce their countries and nationalities to all the teachers and students. The school has many clubs to meet the individual development needs of the children. Every year during Chinese New Year, the school even sets off fireworks for the Chinese children. Some teachers even give out red envelopes to the children. In short, it makes children far from home feel the warmth of a family. In addition to its nationally top-ranked basketball team, the school also offers various sports options such as swimming and equestrianism. What's rare is that I receive emails every month from my child's advisor teacher, informing me about my child's performance in all aspects at school. This keeps parents well-informed about their child's academic and daily life.

Wasatch Academy is a highly comprehensive school. What sets Wasatch apart from other schools is its strong emphasis on cultivating students' international perspective. Although it is an American school, it doesn't solely transmit American societal values. Instead, it focuses more on fostering students to have a broad vision and an open mind. The curriculum is scientifically designed and highly diversified, while also taking into account students' personal interests. At Wasatch Academy, many teachers hold doctoral degrees, and the school also regularly organizes PD (Professional Development) course training. Many of my classmates have been admitted to top 100 universities globally, and the school has very professional guidance counselors who help you choose the most suitable university for you. In short, during my four years here, I learned how to face people and situations around me with greater confidence, independence, and composure. I never regret a single day I spent here!

The school cafeteria offers a wide variety of food, with multiple lunch options such as burgers, noodles, rice, dumplings, salads, and more. It can satisfy the tastes of students from various countries. The cafeteria provides chopsticks, and what's unexpected is that they even have Chinese Malatang! Wasatch Academy's cafeteria is definitely ranked in the Top 3 among all boarding high schools in the US!
