Founded in 1851, Buffalo Seminary is a small, selective, independent, college preparatory girls' residential and day school. It is located on a 1600-acre campus at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, with a 12-acre lake for swimming and boating. Founded in 1903, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School is a college-preparatory school serving boarding and day students in grades 6-12. Challenging academics are offered in classes of 16 or fewer students, with honors and Advanced Placement courses available. Located on a 1400-acre campus in the north Georgia mountains only 2 hours from Atlanta, students may also pursue arts, athletic, and outdoor programs. CFS is a boarding and day school for talented boys in grades nine through twelve. CFS offers a rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum in an intimate setting, with a total enrollment of less than 200 and an average class size of just ten students.
