The school is located in Massachusetts, 100 miles from Boston. It's a two-hour drive from Boston Logan Airport to the school, making transportation very convenient. The school's community is very safe, and locals are friendly towards foreigners. There are also several good Chinese restaurants, supermarkets, and pharmacies nearby. The school campus is large and beautiful, especially around Thanksgiving when the leaves turn vibrant colors, creating a stunning view. The campus offers a variety of activities, with equestrian and debate being the most famous, both consistently achieving excellent results in national competitions. The debate team, in particular, has represented the United States in world competitions on more than one occasion. In addition, there are other sports such as basketball, volleyball, tennis, etc., and arts groups like the choir and dance team, offering students ample choices and a rich extracurricular life. This is one of the reasons why many local families also send their children here (80% of the student body are locals). Academically, the school is even more outstanding. It adopts the IB system, which is known for its balanced development in arts and sciences, avoiding specialization, and focusing on cultivating students' independent thinking and creativity, rather than just rote memorization and endless practice problems. True learning comes from understanding and applying knowledge. Secondly, the IB curriculum places great emphasis on developing students' reading and writing skills and abilities, which aligns perfectly with the learning methods of future American universities. Adapting to fast reading and long-form English writing during high school lays a solid foundation for future university studies.

1. Founded in 1869, the school has a 150-year history. Its campus is safe and beautiful, located an hour and a half drive from Boston.
2. The first and only girls' school in New England to offer the IB program.
3. The average class size is fewer than 10 students, ensuring small class sizes and extremely high student attention.
4. The school's equestrian program is certified by the British Horse Society (BHS), making it the only secondary school in the United States that can offer BHS certificates. The prestigious BHS certification is recognized in 32 countries worldwide. Graduates of this program are prepared to take their BHS International Exams to obtain an international coaching license.
5. The school offers a very strong Debate and Public Speaking Society program. From world-class debate and speaking associations to weekly meetings, student council organizations, and 10th-grade rhetoric courses, students have endless opportunities to practice self-advocacy. In debate and public speaking, 16 students from the school have been recognized as world-class competitors.
6. Students engage in a rich and wide selection of art courses, from beginner to advanced levels of instrumental performance, studio art, vocal music, composition, dance, and drama.

Stoneleigh-Burnham School, located in Greenfield, Massachusetts, is the only all-girls high school in New England offering the IB Diploma Program, with IB courses available in almost all subjects. The school is surrounded by rich university resources, just a 15-minute drive from UMass Amherst, 20 minutes from Smith College, and 15 minutes from Amherst College. I have visited the school, and its equestrian program is excellent.

School Features:

1) Offers a highly distinctive equestrian program, with an on-campus equestrian center certified by the British Horse Society. Students participating in this program can obtain international coaching qualifications by passing an exam.

2) Debate: Features world-class debate and public speaking associations and rhetoric courses. The school's curriculum emphasizes public speaking skills, providing students with debate opportunities even in art classes.

3) Travel Program: Organizes annual off-campus trips to various cities across the United States and around the world. Current student destinations include Thailand, Spain, England, France, China, Canada, etc.

4) Dance Program: Students have numerous opportunities to participate in dance performances, such as weekend campus family performances, winter concerts, spring community dance concerts, graduation dance performances, etc. Our students have performed in various locations, including Athens and London, and have had the opportunity to visit the Bolshoi Ballet and the world-renowned Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet.

5) 2019 university admissions for Chinese graduates include Emory, UCSB, UCSD, Rochester Institute of Technology, University of Washington Seattle, among others.
