Milford Academy is a private school governed by a Board of Trustees who are stewards of the non-profit, non-stock corporation, now located in New Berlin, New York. Milford Academy in Milford, Connecticut was founded as a preparatory school for entrance into Yale University.

Preston High School is a private college-preparatory school for young women, established in 1947 by the Sisters of the Divine Compassion. Located in the Throgs Neck section of the Bronx, and situated on the banks of the East River, the natural environment provides a unique setting for study and recreation. Center Academy provides a small, safe, accredited college prep environment for students who have fallen behind or who want to get ahead. Based in Florida, Center Academy started the first school for dyslexia in the United Kingdom. Center Academy is family-operated since 1968. It was founded by Dr. Mack Hicks, neuro-psychologist and chairman of the board of directors. More than a dozen directors, teachers, and staff have worked as members of the Center Academy "family" for at least 10 years. Center Academy private schools do not give the FCAT. Because education is much broader than a single measure, we do not "teach to the test". Nevertheless, our nationally-normed assessments consistently demonstrate that, on the whole, Center Academy students make learning gains greater than they had in their prior schooling.

Cumberland Valley Christian School is accredited by Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, which is the same organization that awards accreditation to all the public schools in the area. In a school of our size, class rank is the least important of the three, since our classes are smaller than those in the public schools. CVCS students have been accepted to and have gone on to succeed at Christian and secular colleges and universities. Difficulty, of course, often depends on how much time a student puts into studying for a particular class or how much aptitude a student has for a particular subject. Overall, however, the courses offered at CVCS are rigorous. We strive to provide courses that are as challenging as – or even more challenging than – those offered by public schools. We offer several advanced courses in our regular curriculum, including Advanced Mathematics and Advanced Physics, as well as Chemistry and Calculus. Those courses are weighted for GPA calculation, and we offer an Honors Biology and Honors English class that is also weighted. Our classes in English and Social Studies, while not weighted, offer students very demanding course work, some of it college-level.

Queen Anne's School is an independent day and boarding school for female pupils aged eleven to nineteen. Founded in 1698 in Westminster as the Grey Coat Hospital, it became a school for females in 1874, moving to the present site in Caversham in 1894. In 2019, the Grey Coat Hospital Foundation merged with the United Westminster Schools Foundation to create the United Westminster Grey Coat Foundation, which maintains oversight through an independent governing body. Boarders are accommodated in four boarding houses; there are three-day houses. Since the previous inspection, the school has completed a new main entrance, school office, and music center, including a recital hall and a recording studio.

Bard Academy at Simon’s Rock is a two-year boarding and day program designed to prepare 9th and 10th graders to start college early. Within six years of entering Bard Academy as a high school freshman, a student who matriculates into Bard College at Simon’s Rock after Grade 10 will earn a Bachelor of Arts degree by around age 20. The Academy curriculum is designed and taught by college professors who also teach undergraduate courses at Bard College at Simon’s Rock. Many of our students will take advantage of our 3/2 dual-degree programs in STEM with Columbia University and Dartmouth College, allowing them to receive both a bachelor's degree from an Ivy League institution and Bard College by the age of 20-21!
