·Act as a liaison between parents and school officials
·Provide guidance to the student to overcome language and cultural barriers and other issues
·In-person meeting with student and school officials
·Arrange vacation programs when school is closed and trip home is not feasible
·Coordinate travel arrangement for college visits and parents' visits
·Advise on school work, class selections, summer programs, and career assessment
