TP is located probably north of New York City (probably one hour or more depending the traffic condition) and all boys boarding school. It is a religious school, episcopal school, which usually has a very strong academic program. TP is not like top boarding school such as Middlesex or Deerfield in terms of academic strength, but tries to embrace all different learning styles. That in general is a good thing for international students because the school has more tolerance with cultural, language, or learning diversity. Average SAT score of graduating seniors are somewhat around 1800. Probably about 5-7% of seniors would be able to go to IVY universities. That is my estimate, very subjective.
