If you plan to go to an international school in China, you should first study about the school's curriculum. There are various types of international schools in China. Some uses IB curriculum which is favored by European Universities (particularly British or Australian Universities), and other schools use American curriculum which also has variety based on their different religious values and educational philosophy. If you want to apply to top universities in US, I would recommend you to apply international schools with American curriculum. That is an issue of familiarity and my personal opinion.
