I was already super familiar with UNC and a lot of people going there, so I wanted a new place and experience. I like how BC is close to Boston, which is a great city. Chapel Hill’s great but it’s not Boston. BC’s campus feels more compact and close knit to me than UNC, which is bigger and more sprawling. Also, no frats at BC, which was a plus for me. Still plenty of ways to party by joining clubs and stuff.
All that said, I love both schools. I am very happy with my choice but I could have easily gone to UNC and had a great experience. For me a lot of it came down to not going to school 20 minutes away with a bunch of people I already knew. Lmk if you have any other questions
