There is one option that I would like to suggest. A top 60 university contacted me and said that if a student is admitted to one of their prep schools for one year, then they are also accepted to the university. Please contact me for more information as the school doesn't want me to disclose its name.
Transferring as 12th grader is not a good idea. Rather, if you want to come to Manhattan, please work hard to find out colleges and universities near or in New York city. I do not know why you want to transfer at this stage. Without compelling reasons for transfer, it is not a smart move.
