Important part of overseas education is for your child to develop independence and to establish friendship which is often times easier to achieve in a boarding school environment than day school with host family. Your child needs to assimilate and integrate in the foreign society to fully appreciate and learn their culture but your presence will probably restricts that opportunity. Having your child enroll in a good boarding school is probably the best educational experience he can benefit from.
