We feel very fortunate that our children have had to opportunity to attend the Renaissance Academy. The teachers in the RA are highly qualified and caring, involved educators. The quality and creativity of the instruction is second to none. Our experience has been that the communication from teachers is also excellent. A typical response time to a question is within hours. We would highly recommend Renaissance Academy.
I love the culture at Renaissance Academy, most people are welcoming and students are there to learn. Teachers are there generally because they like teaching and interacting with the kids. The curriculum is challenging if you want it to be.
Renaissance Academy are a family school. Everyone knows each other and supports and loves each other. I felt they were always with me no matter my school decisions or personal decisions. The teachers are amazing and that is why I want to be a teacher as well.
My children have received a great education here. The teachers have been wonderful as well as the administration when it comes to meeting my children's specific needs. My son is now in college doing really well and often says it is due to his wonderful teachers!
Renaissance Academy was a great academically challenging school with multiple opportunities for fun outside of the classroom. I participated in the 300 person marching band, choir program, and drama club. There isn't much I would change about my experience. I felt well prepared for college and earned a 4.0 this semester.
The district is excellent as they put academics first. Also Renaissance Academy celebrates all success from sports to athletics to clubs. Community support is all around as they support students.
Our school offers clubs for everyone. If a student wishes to create a club, they can easily do so by gathering members and having a staff member be the club facilitator! Our school contains many students from Nepal and other countries, and we have over 5 clubs where anyone can gather, talk about their culture, and teach other students about their countries. The funding that clubs receive is the money that they earn.
My experience at RA was overall positive. I had some amazing teachers who helped me academically and personally grow. The principal and other administration staff were friendly and cared about the students. The overall atmosphere was mixed. I made some good friends and found my place.
I have enjoyed all but two of the teachers I’ve had at Concord. The STEM classes are great, especially the APs and electives (s/o to MRS Bof, shes the best!!!!). The only place where chs struggles academically is the chemistry department. There are so many awesome classes to choose from that not a of schools offer, like rope and animal behaviors. The other issue I had at chs was the administration vs the staff.
My experience at RA was amazing! The teachers really are invested in each students best interest and emphasize the importance of education. The school is very diverse and there are so many things you can be involved in it can be overwhelming! The sense of community there is like nothing I’ve ever felt before. Overall it was a great experience and not sure i would change anything.
I like that most of the teachers really care about you do doing well and creating diverse opportunities. I also like that there are so many different clubs and extracurricular activities. The school atmosphere is also pretty accepting. I feel like I received a well rounded education and had many options.
Renaissance Academy is such an amazing diverse school that has so many things to offer for all different types of people. At RA there are so many classes available to take, so many sports you can join, and so many clubs you can also join. It is such a great school for all students and such a great atmosphere.
There is a very large range of classes that the school offers at basically all levels of difficulty, though most of the classes are considered to be difficult. There has been a difficulty with the number of teachers being limited and there is a lack of real-world classes instead there is many math and science classes which lack any knowledge that will later apply to life after high school.
There are gym classes available for all grades and freshman and sophomore year it is required to take a gym class. Gym classes are typically taken seriously and participation in sports is highly encouraged. The weight room at the school is open for all athletes and non-athletes. Many students go to the sporting events to cheer on the athletes and it is typically a very exciting.
I play three varsity sports for my school, so I have a great understanding of the athletics. We have great teams with exceptional coaches and players who not only want to win but to have fun. Not to mention we have one of the greatest athletic trainers in our division.
I really love my high school! I wouldn't want to go anywhere else because in my experience the community at Renaissance Academy safe and accepting. It provided me with difficult academic courses along with great clubs and sports teams to participate in.
I have benefited leaps and bounds from my teachers. They have the backgrounds and knowledge that not only inspire me to work my hardest but also to be informed in the subjects they teach.
I had a great high school experience at RA, it is a very competitive school but it sets you up very well for college. I went to RA for four years and did average-well in school. I was a A-B average student but would often get C's in science and math courses and those are not my strong suits and math and science are very difficult at RA. they provide AP, regular, and easier courses for most math and science courses which most students find very helpful.
At Renaissance Academy, there is such an importance placed on the well-being of the student body. The teachers were invested in helping students and the administration put the interests of their students very high. Their is also a pretty strong anti-drug culture at RA. Very rarely do you see kids hitting vapes in the bathrooms or skipping class. Everyone here is focused on bettering themselves academically.
Rigorous curriculum, great teachers, and very supportive atmosphere! Lacking in diversity, but so is RA as a whole. Sports facilities are lacking, but new turf field is being built.
Renaissance Academy is an amazing school especially in the math and science departments. They offer many different classes in several different levels of difficulty and really make sure students can craft their own schedule based ont heir person preferences .
An excellent school with a good variety of classes and electives, and great teachers. One of the highest ranking schools in New England. An overall good school environment that makes me feel safe. The community is fairly accepting and supportive which made coming out as transgender relatively smooth. I learned a lot during my time there. I am so grateful to all my teachers and friends who helped me to learn and grow as a person.
The teachers work hard at their jobs and it shows through the students effort in class. I’ve learned a ton and grown as an individual here. The school sports programs have been amazing and a lot of funding goes towards the arts. Otherwise it’s a school that opens many opportunities for it’s students and I’ve enjoyed my time at RA.
Renaissance Academy is great school that challenges kids academically. There are some teachers and coaches who have a many affect on student's mental health, confidence, and intelligence, even after concerns have been voiced. However, in opposition, there are also some amazing teachers here that really prepare you for college and help you to be the best that you can.
I attended RA when I was in 7th grade. The teachers are extremely knowledgeable and because of the small class sizes, it feels like a family at that school. I call it my second home. RA definitely prepared me for the work load in college.
It's a very good school if your main focus is either community, STEM fields, or college readiness. They don't have much in the way of sports/athletics and clubs are limited, but high school students are open to start their own clubs. It's a really nice place to go to school, and I feel like it put me ahead of the game in college.
I would like to see more athletics available at the school. I do like how the teachers try to connect with their students and taking time to improve the social emotional learning in the school.
Renaissance Academy is a very student-centered school that values the input and experiences of it's students. We have a lot of school spirit. We have strong academics, with students going on to many fine colleges. We have good sports of all varieties. We have exceptional teachers who we all get to know really well. Having individual teachers get to know us so well and even create curriculum to meet the needs of each individual student, means that we get more out of our education.
At this school, faculty are your best friends. Teachers are always enthusiastic and excited to be helping students. It's their job to teach, but they are willing to go beyond just teaching and provide life advice and challenge its students!
Very progressive environment for learning. Teachers and staff make every effort to support student needs. Strong sense of pride both in the school as well as the community. Strong curriculum that challenges students and creates independent thinkers.
Since starting college I have gained an appreciation for the teachers I had back in high school. RA is unique because all of its teachers care about their students. They get involved with students lives and will do anything in their power to help students achieve their goals. I have been out of RA for three years now and I still see those same teachers being involved in their past student's lives and that is truly special.
The parents have organized something called project graduation that is an amazing thing for kids after graduation that gives them a fun, substance free activity to culminate their high school life.
There is a lot of choice for my child and she has expressed enthusiasm about how many choices there are for her. I do wish there were and equestrian team.
The academics at this school are top notch. Many Advanced Placement classes that provide a variety of great courses to choose from with excellent teachers in the classroom.
There is a large variety of sports offered at RA. No matter what the sport, or how good the team is, you can anticipate a student crowd cheering on the team. Outside of sports, there are intramural teams, as well as clubs and groups for the not-so-athletic students. No matter what the activity, all students are welcomed, and their skill level is barely taken into consideration.
I enjoyed my experience at Renaissance Academy. As a recently graduated student, I can confidentially say that this school and the staff are eager to help you achieve your future goals all while maintains a fun, friendly, and sustainable environment. Some of the best parts of my experience included certain courses such as global citizenship as well as marine biology in which I took my senior year as these two courses helped me build more of an interest in the world around me.
The students go all out for basketball games in the winter, it's one of our strongest sports and you really get a sense of community when you go to the games and know almost everyone there.
Most teachers are great, they really want you to succeed, but you have to be willing and able to seek extra help yourself. Some teachers have boring classes, and some are tough on grading, but if you put in the work you'll definitely see the reward.
Renaissance Academy is very student led and open to adaption. Personal views and beliefs are often put forward to a person of higher power in order to make the school better. The school has only gotten better throughout my duration of attendance.
Renaissance Academy is a school that differs from the rest, from calling your teachers by your first name to a community built through respect and student government.
As a parent I’ve been pleased with the administration and communication throughout the pandemic.the teachers have really stepped it up during this time as well.
Renaissance Academy is an amazing school for students looking to push their limits of academic and cooperative abilities. I enjoyed my time there very much while I grew as a student and a friend. I think that the class structure is well set up for persuading students into a college environment while keeping workload and stress to a minimum.
Great school, everyone was super nice, open, and supportive! We got a lot of freedom, but the academics were still really good. I don't necessarily think that the school itself prepared me for college extremely well though.
Renaissance Academy is a unique school that helped prepared me for college. Students are taught to be driven, independent, and advocate for themselves. Souhegan High School gave school a different type of atmosphere that made school inviting and exciting, and I have not felt that anywhere else. I think it is crucial to encourage students to enjoy school and learning, and RA definitely promotes this type of experience.
I very much enjoy attending RA. The culture is unlike most other schools. We call out teachers by their first names which really helps to feel more comfortable with them and I feel like it is much easier to engage with them and ask questions.
Renaissance Academy has provided my children a safe, warm, welcoming environment where they have thrived and developed skills and independence, ready to take on their next chapters in life.
The memories that I have made with the students here are like no other experiences that I have encountered before. The teachers will help you if you are having difficulty understanding certain topics.
The school has everything and more for a school of slightly more than 500 kids. The buildings and facilities are all beautiful and state of the art, from the academic buildings to the athletic facilities.
The teachers are mostly very good, they stay away from long lectures and make sure the class is engaged. For the most part, the teachers genuinely care about the students and go above and beyond in many ways.
I've loved my time at RA, the academics are difficult but interesting. If you engage yourself here you can find a lot out about yourself and overall it is a great place to foster personal growth and help you achieve your goals.
I have been at RA for three years. Being a student athlete at RA I had to learn how to balance all aspects, at RA we are constantly go go go. I was able to grow and develop as a person and I learned how to be more independent. While I have definitely struggled at RA I think that it has been a good experience for me and I wouldn't be where I was today if I hadn't come here.
RA is an amazing school. Dedicated teachers who provide many opportunities for support. Vertical housing allows friendships between upper and lower classmen. So grateful for my opportunity to attend. Love RA
I am currently at Renaissance Academy and since arriving three years ago, I have grown tremendously in every aspect of my life. Renaissance Academy has incredible facilities, programs, faculty and students, and has helped me to develop skills in writing, athletics, time management and personal interactions (to list a few). I now am committed to play Division 1 lacrosse in college and couldn’t be more grateful for RA for helping me get to this point.
If you want a well-rounded high school experience, Renaissance Academy is the place to go. It is clear that the school genuinely cares about its students, faculty, and staff. Teachers are also very receptive and genuinely concerned about their student's well-being and success. Renaissance Academy has had the most impact on our son's life. He adores his school classmates, deans, and advisers. As parents, we couldn't ask for a better school for our son!
The school is very warm and welcoming to all students. As a student who has been here for many years, I have seen the school make a greater effort to be more inclusive in cultural settings. Although the rigor of the school is high the end results are very rewarding. Renaissance Academy is a place made by the people who live there. Friends become family and school becomes home over the years.
Fantastic school! The teachers are Professional, caring and well organized. The admissions process was outstanding, they really care and truly want the best for your child.
My son heard that the basketball atmosphere at the school is excellent, and the school's basketball team has competed at both the state and national levels, winning the state championship. The school has hired a renowned basketball coach in the California region to guide our school team and participate in various levels of competitions. Thanks to the basketball achievements of school team, my son successfully applied to his ideal university through the NCAA.
A great education with a very passionate staff is the briefest explanation I can give. Teachers go above and beyond for their students and the administration allow for new ideas to flourish. The unparalleled success oriented mindset of this school is second to none.
I just love this school. It has a very good number of teachers, athletics, and academics. Classes are really easy to pass and getting good grades is stress and pressure free. It also has a good amount of diversity here, and everyone is so kind to each other, at the point where it feels like a giant family. I feel overall very happy and safe here.
Just love it. This school is prefect with good teachers and overall caring students. I am really enjoying my time here. The people here make you feel welcome and they treat you like family. Also overall ten fold better than the middle school and elementary schools.
This school prepares students for college, with many students taking AP courses and engaging in extracurricular activities. Even though many students have higher expectations than average, it pushes other students to become better. The environment is safe and diverse.
There is so much to do at Renaissance Academy. Clubs are in the morning and sports are in the afternoon so student can do both instead of pick and choose. There are many different electives and everyone can study at their level.
Renaissance Academy is a school where my kid is able to enjoy the process of learning. The community is inspiring and full of creative ideas. It's a busy school with events every day, but I enjoy seeing my kid explore new areas and be his best self.
At the Renaissance Academy, everyone can find their place. Whether it is the plethora of student interest clubs, diverse student body, the openness and willingness of the teachers to help at every turn, or just the smile on everyone's faces in the morning, But there really is no better way to come see it for yourself!
Renaissance Academy is a very safe school with a lot of clubs and opportunities. It has a lot of benefits and activities available. There are many resources for extra help academically and mentally.
The majority of the teachers are committed to the students and provide a lot of support and extra time to make sure the students succeed. Students also have a voice at this school. The counselors are also proactive and involved.
I commend the environment here for enabling me to work hard and make good friends. I also learned a bit about human nature, and how charming, politics-aspiring, and lifelong sociopaths can, with assistance from those who are oblivious, repeatedly walk away with heinous acts even well after college. This school taught me precautionary lessons I find useful to this day
I admired the strong academic and extracurricular opportunities here, just like many admire the leaves under a blue sky. More often than not, students and staff here meant well and taught each other well. Whether in graduating future entrepreneurs, creative producers, truth-seeking scholars, or the politically-seeking, search engine-manipulating, and surreptitiously predatory, this school has encouraged and continues to encourage the growth of numerous notables.
I had a great experience at Renaissance Academy ! I always found that my fellow peers helped me grow and mature and pushed me to be better. I loved the majority of my teachers and felt that if you were willing to put in the effort to be engaged in their classes, they would return the favor and put in effort on their end to really help you succeed. With many of my teachers I felt like I created strong connections with them that further helped me excel in the classroom, as well as grow as a person
I moved to the district when I was in 8th grade. While I adjusted very quickly due to the openness of the students here, I quickly learned to adjust to the highly competitive environment amongst the students, which often leads to much higher expectations. However it's a good school in some ways.
The school provides so many opportunities and resources for it's students! It's the type of environment that really pushes you to work hard and do your best. The teachers are also amazing.
Renaissance Academy is fine and just a overall amazing school which allowed me to branch and meet new people and really showed me the importance of education and wanting to better our future even though the academic competition is there it all is worth it at the end
I found that the school was honestly filled with incredibly driven, ambitious, and intellectually stimulating students that for the most part were extremely intrinsically motivated. The students for the most part knew who they were and what they wanted to do. To be honest the teachers were not what made the school but rather the student were
Excellent academics, almost every AP possible offered, lots of students taking post AP classes. Large school, but brilliant student body with a wide range of interests and passions. This is the school where one can find high performing athletes with interests in performing arts and computers science or biology or math or physics or engineering. Very large number of clubs, sports, student activities.
my child attended a public high school where class sizes were over twenty students. In terms of sports, there were only a few categories offered, and the coaches were not highly specialized, often overseeing multiple sports. Through an enrollment fair, I learned about Renaissance Academy and since my child started attending the school last year, the experience has been exceptional. I have noticed a significant positive change in my child, who has become more cheerful and willing to help others.
I have visited over 100 schools in the United States, and this school has the highest level of faculty expertise I've ever seen. The average educational background can reach over 90%. The school's resources are incredibly robust. Even the sports coaching staff consists of stars. The resources in humanities, arts, and fine arts are also astonishing. This is undoubtedly the best choice for my child when applying to a U.S. high school.
The Cannery Seafood of the Pacific,反正吃饭是挺方便的。学校离海边也不远,周末老师也会带着孩子去海边放松。
Wow, I have to say, I'm really impressed with Renaissance! The teachers are absolutely fantastic. They're not just educators; they're mentors and friends. They're always willing to listen to our questions, encourage us to seek knowledge, and they've taught us so much beyond the classroom, like interpersonal skills, social skills, and a global perspective.
My child's feedback on the physical education program is quite impressive: "I have consistently been impressed with the physical education program at our school. I would like to express my gratitude to our physical education teachers, who have been incredibly motivating and always encourage us to give our best. They've not only taught us sports skills but also instilled important values like teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship. "
