With its historically unique combination of bright, open-minded students who play a significant role in helping to define the school's policies and character, and an outstanding faculty who teach with passion and expect the very best from their students, Indian Springs School provides an exceptional learning environment. Large enough to offer its 340 students a diverse curriculum, the school is also small enough to allow each individual to be well-known and properly challenged academically. Indian Springs is located in the fastest growing region in the United States. Because the climate is warm year-round, students have unprecedented opportunities for hands on learning. It is common to see a Freshwater Ecology course outside utilizing the 12-acre lake in a lesson, an English class reading out and acting out lines from Shakespeare in Armstrong Green, and a student building a drone in the maker space and testing flight outside in the middle of December. Indian Springs borders a 10,000 state park, allowing students to hike, mountain bike, engage in landscape photography, and more. And, being just a 20 minutes drive from downtown Birmingham means Indian Springs students truly get the best of both words by virtue of the school's location.

My daughter has attended Springs for nearly two years, and it’s been a life-changing experience. The spacious and beautiful campus provides a peaceful setting for learning and personal growth.
The teachers are professional and truly caring, communicating regularly with parents—even those overseas—through emails and video calls. Their detailed feedback shows how well they know and support each student.
Springs offers a wide range of academic and extracurricular activities, encouraging students to explore their interests. The international dorm community fosters global friendships, and weekend shuttle buses allow for shopping and sightseeing.
Since joining, our daughter has become more confident, active, and self-motivated, taking initiative in her studies and daily life.

In 2023 i was seriously looking for a good school to have my son after completing his year 11 in Nigeria. I went online and found Indian Springs, pelham, Alabama. I contacted them and finally had my son there. This is the best decision i've ever taken in schooling for my son. Academics, discipline, equal opportunity is 100% i give to Indian Springs. It is the first time my son is leaving home for this long time. Guess what! Springs is home to him. He doesnt miss home. Infact! hes convinced me to have his sibbling join springs too. Zero bullying. Zero racism. 100% discipline and academics. Springs had made my son very independent and able to weigh options and take right decision. I am thankful that i made this decision

I think about my son most days even he has been in ISS for 3 years. Obviously, I miss him a lot, but it is worth when he can be himself, happy, participating in lots of activities, doing well academically and has lots of friends.
ISS is a great school with great academics, my son loves challenges and like digesting the challenging of the courses there and learn how to manage his time.
My son is entering grade 12 next year, his dream university is still unknown. However, since he arrived ISS, he far exceeded his goals and our expectations each year. The school has excellent teachers and offers very academic classes, so my child is very satisfied.
The school provides a great balance between the sports my child wants to play and academics. We are very satisfied and often recommend it to others.
