As one of the top schools in the Boston area and even across the US, Nobles first and foremost emphasizes academics. In the first two years of high school, 9th and 10th grades, Nobles focuses more on preparing students with fundamental academic skills, including reading comprehension and basic mathematical abilities. However, upon entering 11th and 12th grades, students have more opportunities to delve deeply into certain areas in an innovative way, ranging from calculating the force required to throw a ping-pong ball across a room to analyzing the dynamic factors shaping China's current power structure. In terms of curriculum focus, Nobles' core curriculum leans more towards humanities, social sciences, and linguistics.
Secondly, Nobles places great importance on activities. Over 90% of after-school activities and club activities are co-led by teachers, which also serves as a way to build connections between teachers and students outside the classroom.

Noble and Greenough School is an aristocratic, co-educational, non-denominational secondary school. Most students are day students, but the school also offers 5-day boarding, with only 48 boarders currently.

The school is located in Massachusetts in the Northeastern New England region, situated on 187 acres along the Charles River, 10 miles (a 29-minute drive) from Boston. It is an excellent school for studying.
