Coming to Suffield from an extremely small yet competitive junior boarding school- Fay School- I did not expect to see a community that upholds the same values while also supporting and challenging me at the same time. Not only are the faculty here highly invested and genuinely passionate about my high school experience, but the academic and athletic rigor within the other students also drive me to succeed as well. The support system I have felt here has been unmatched and I have found people I can lean on not only in the classroom, but in the dorms, on the court, and in the pool. Furthermore, as a boarder, the weekly activities offered here gives me and my friends something to look forward to every weekend; whether is it school dances, fairs, formal dinners, spike ball tournaments, or simply just walking around the beautiful campus. I will forever be grateful for picking Suffield Academy to nurture and achieve my goals in high school.

Going to Suffield for the last 4 years has been an amazing experience for me! The connection between day students and boarding students is unnoticeable! I had an amazing social life with a strong challenge in the classroom and on the field in my sports! Suffield taught me responsible and helped me gain confidence. This school has helped me grow the past 4 years and I have no doubt that it will help you!

The strong sense of community drives a work hard play hard environment in which support and success can always be found. Programs such as study hall, sit-down lunch and college counseling to name few, are a couple aspects of Suffield that make it special. Ultimately what makes Suffield such an amazing school is the environment provided. The encouragement to explores areas of academics, arts and athletics, clubs and responsibility have prepared me for college and beyond!

Suffield Acadmey has been an integral asset in my education and personal development throughout high school. The community is so welcoming, and all the teachers are super supporting. The education is high level and athletic teams are very skilled. The food is also amazing.

Great school

The academics are strong, the teachers are approachable, and there are many opportunities to get involved in clubs and student life. I also really appreciate the food, especially that they offer familiar options like miso soup and white rice, which makes campus life feel more comfortable and more like my second home.

I genuinely love this school because of how welcoming and supportive the community is. Since this was my first boarding school experience and I come from another country I was nervous at first, but everyone made me feel comfortable so quickly. It did not take long for this place to feel like home.
