The Governor’s Academy, the oldest boarding school in New England, draws bright, bold students in grades nine through twelve from all over the world into an open and optimistic learning community. Located 33 miles north of Boston and 4 miles from the Atlantic Ocean, Govs offers a full range of visual and performing arts, more than fifty athletic teams, and dozens of service, cultural, and recreational activities. Whether boarding or day, students are surrounded by dedicated faculty and staff on a beautiful, 456-acre campus. It’s a truly family-like school, where every teacher and staff member’s care and affection for the students is palpable. It offers each child abundant opportunities—not only academically, but also in sports and the arts. We take great pride in sending our children to such a cozy high school, rich in history and tradition.
