2025 Spring FAM Trip | School Visit Stop 6: Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart, Illinois
In spring-time Illinois, as sunlight bathed the campus, we were immediately enveloped by a warm atmosphere upon entering the school: students presented us with a heartfelt welcome through a choral song.
The school principal and teachers enthusiastically introduced the school's unique programs. They also arranged for us to experience engineering, physics, and chemistry classes firsthand, where we interacted with students – it felt absolutely wonderful! Woodlands Academy places great emphasis on the importance of female education, dedicating itself to unleashing girls' potential and passion in STEM courses, academic competitions, and robotics projects. It also highly values cultivating girls' leadership and independent thinking skills.
It's worth mentioning that the school specially prepared an exquisite Chinese lunch for our visiting group. It was delicious and showed great sincerity, truly making us 'Chinese stomachs on the go' feel deeply cared for and respected. The school dorms also deserve praise! Modern facilities, clean and bright, with options for single and double rooms, and equipped with air conditioning – every detail of student life is thoughtfully considered.
