I first learned about Woodstock in early 2016. During a large event, I sat next to an Indian person. We started talking about schools in India. He mentioned to me that there was a very good school in northern India, but it was very expensive. However, at that time, my daughter had already enrolled in a school in Bangalore, so I didn't consider it further. My daughter studied in South India for nearly three years, and when she reached seventh grade, I decided to transfer her to Woodstock. This is because Woodstock is relatively more open and international, and it embraces diverse cultures, as students and teachers come from different cultural, educational, or family backgrounds. This point particularly appealed to me. The second point is that it is located in the midst of nature, in the mountains of Mussoorie, so the energy of nature. I think it's very good for students because they are constantly close to nature, which is very important. The third point is that not only does the school have a long history, but it also has a very large library with a vast collection of books, reportedly 50,000 volumes. My daughter is a child who particularly enjoys reading, so that was also a reason that attracted me. Finally, after interacting with the teachers, I feel that their philosophy on education is quite open. They encourage children to explore themselves more and learn about different things. How should I put it – a strong sense of inclusivity or openness.

It is a great honor for my humble son to be able to enter this century-old school and live and progress alongside students from all over the world! To perceive nature, understand oneself, and foresee the future under the watchful gaze of the Himalayas is truly a wonderful destiny among all living beings.
Here, there is a gateway to the path of academia, where one can see magnificent landscapes never before witnessed; engage closely with human culture, religion, and philosophy; expand one's mind with technology; experience the diversity of the world and eliminate prejudice; and immerse oneself in a sea of books to explore more possibilities. These experiences are irreplaceable. Renowned scholars from various fields come to the school to give lectures, giving students the opportunity to witness their knowledge and demeanor up close. These close interactions spark new ideas and bring fresh perspectives. Furthermore, various group-organized campus activities allow students to step away from their busy coursework and relax their minds and bodies.
Over a year has slipped through my fingers, but knowledge has accumulated in everyone's minds, and various skills honed during school life have been etched into their very bones. I hope Woodstock, like a shining pearl, emits a magnificent glow, guiding the children's path forward!
