Riverstone International School

The school's academics are challenging as they follow the IB program. However, the teachers help to motivate me to engage and understand the content on a deep level. This helps me to perform my best academically. The school’s environment allows me to know my classmates really well, and I feel welcomed in this school. The school also has an outdoor program that pushes me to explore the outdoors and appreciate the beauty of nature. Overall, I think that this school is great!

Hello, I am Hoa. My son studied for 4 years of high school at Riverstone International School. Our family chose the school because it offers the IB program at all three levels, and my son would receive an International Baccalaureate diploma upon graduation. This would be an advantage for him when applying to universities because the diploma is globally recognized. With the IB program, my son gained the ability to conduct independent research, solve problems autonomously, and make decisions independently. At Riverstone International School, students are supported by teachers in choosing their major and preparing applications for the highly-ranked universities they have selected. Teachers help students write essays and provide recommendations for submission to universities. With the support of the teachers at Riverstone International School, my son was accepted into a top 10 university in the United States for his chosen major.

Thanks to the educational program at Riverstone International School and the care of its teachers, my son had a memorable high school experience. He developed independence, maturity, and resilience to face the challenges of his university journey. Our family considers choosing Riverstone International School for his high school education in the U.S. to be a wise decision that provided him with a memorable turning point in his academic path. Thank you very much.

Riverstone has helped me grow step by step. Being away from home since I was 16, I was truly bewildered by the new environment. What I appreciate most about Riverstone is its emphasis on community values and compassion. The school has given me invaluable lessons, not only through its comprehensive curriculum but also through extracurricular activities, field trips, or simply daily interactions. The school also gave me friends from all over the world, showing me how diverse worldviews can be. Furthermore, I am very grateful to my teachers who always listened to my worries and fatigues, encouraged me when needed, and were always there even after I left school. Riverstone is not just a school but also my second home, a place I long to visit if I have the opportunity. To this day, I still believe that studying at RIS is one of the most meaningful experiences in my life. I hope that more Vietnamese students will have the chance to experience the Riverstone environment.

My name is Thúy, and I currently live in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. My eldest child, Khánh Trương, is currently in 10th grade at Riverstone (Khánh enrolled in 9th grade). When I sent Khánh to Riverstone, I wasn't sure if he would adapt to the new environment, as it was his first time living away from home. I was very surprised that Khánh has adapted so well and has enjoyed studying at Riverstone over the past year and a half. Khánh would not have been able to overcome obstacles such as culture, cuisine, and especially the feeling of being away from home, his mother, and his brother, without the enthusiastic support from the teachers and staff at the dormitory and school. This truly is Khánh's second family and makes him feel at home. Furthermore, I am very satisfied with the quality of education at Riverstone, where Khánh has fully developed relevant knowledge and soft skills through many outdoor activities. I would like to recommend Riverstone to any parent who wants a good environment for their child's development. Riverstone offers financial aid so that families can enroll in case assistance is needed. Thank you.
